What is Busiman

A quick tour of what Busiman does and how the desktop and mobile apps work together.

Busiman is a free app for running the day-to-day of an office: who's in today, who called about what, what's on the shelf, and what's owed to or by whom.

It comes in two parts that share the same account and the same data:

  • Desktop app — the full system, meant for the front desk or the back office. This is where most setup happens: company profile, branches, shifts, employee records, and the deepest views of Sales, Purchases, and Attendance.
  • Mobile app — what your team carries. Attendance, calls, inventory scanning, and field service reports happen here, wherever the person actually is.

What's built today

Not every module is available on both apps yet. This matters, so here's the honest picture:

Note: This table is the real, current state of the product — not a roadmap. Each doc page also carries an "Available now" or "Partially available" badge for the same reason.

How the pieces fit together

Every account has exactly one company and one or more branches under it. Each employee belongs to exactly one branch, and a branch has a list of departments enabled on it (Attendance, Inventory, Sales, Purchases, Calendar, Service). That's what decides what a given employee sees when they open the app.

Start with Organization Setup once you've installed the apps — it's the one page worth reading before anything else.
